The Mossi are a people in central Burkina Faso, living mostly in the villages of the Volta River Basin. The Mossi are the largest ethnic group in Burkina Faso, constituting more than 40% of the population,or about 6.2 million people. The Mossi speak the Mòoré language.
In a new venture designed to reach whole communities instead of a single population segment, TWR is developing a block of programmes that reach all five target audiences within a particular people group.
This seven-day block will cover the areas of health, women, youth, oral learners and leaders with daily radio programmes. Broadcast from TWR’s medium wave station in Benin, the programme block will meet the needs of the Mossi people, one of the largest groups in the area.
Your contribution of R 100.00 or more will help us bring the gospel to the Mossi people.
